I know I touched the subject of canvas tote bags in my previous post but here's something worth checking out.

To raise awareness against counterfeit products and to celebrate original design within the fashion industry, the world's biggest auction site, eBay and the Council of Fashion Designers of America produced one-of-a-kind tote bags customized by fifty CFDA designers.

"I am so happy you did this! it's not only about counterfeits, counterfeiting is more than that! i have seen a lot of designs in big stores who are absolutely inspired by big designs/brands! actually they are just copied! and i also have a problem with big brands who designs collection for high street shops! why do i pay 2500$ for a dress, if i can have the same 'design' for like 150$! don't like it. and i know it is all about marketing but i still don't like it. to me, this is fake too! i pay a lot of money for designer pieces for so many reasons: quality, shopping experience, design, because i enjoy the complete process: every single step may be worth the money So it is not only about the copies in turkey!"
